Orchard Valley Middle School
Mrs. Michelina Tenuto
856-582-5353 Ext. 5631
Hello, Students and Parents! My name is Michelina Tenuto. I am the school nurse here at Orchard Valley Middle School. I have been a nurse for 30 years, 22 of which I have worked as a critical care and peri-operative nurse at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Years ago, when my children started school, I began volunteering in their school nurse's office, the library, and the lunchroom. There, I realized that I had a love for the school environment and enjoyed being around more healthy and happy children. It was then that I decided to work on a new career in school nursing. I became a certified school nurse and worked as a substitute school nurse for 7 years while still maintaining employment with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. In September 2019, I decided to make the full-time transition to school nursing. I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with so many wonderful students, faculty, and parents. I am eager to meet this year's new students and look forward to being reunited with returning students. I hope for a great, happy, healthy, and safe school year!
