Description: Best Buddies is an international non-profit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships and inclusive activities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). At Strath Haven, students with and without disabilities participate in Best Buddies in a variety of ways. Students can be paired in friendship matches, attend monthly meetings and events, have leadership opportunities, plan events and fundraisers, and more!

CAT RESCUE CLUB
Description: In Cat Rescue Club our goal is to connect cats with foster homes and help students get involved in animal rescue. Our club offers a chance for students to foster cats, participate in monthly fundraising projects, and earn volunteer hours. Whether you're passionate about animal welfare or looking for meaningful ways to contribute to your community, Cat Rescue Club provides a supportive environment to make a difference in the lives of cats in need.

DISTRICT JUNIOR FIREFIGHTERS
Description: This club enables the junior firefighters from the companies that serve the school district to interact at school to recruit members for the fire service, develop public education for fire safety, and discuss safety issues at WSSD and their role in them.

Description: Green Haven is an environmental club focused on increasing our green efforts at SHHS. We are a hands-on club that has worked to improve recycling efforts, clean up the community and bring attention to the amount of waste we produce and how to limit it.

Description: This is the Strath Haven chapter for Habitat for Humanity! Habitat for Humanity is an organization that builds shelter and affordable housing for underprivileged people. They are working to make sure everyone has a safe and affordable home. This is our chance at Strath Haven to give back and really help those in need. We will meet around once a month fifth block to discuss volunteer opportunities, and the volunteering will take place outside of school. This is a great way to spread love and help your community, and will give you a deep sense of gratitude and fulfillment.
