2025-2026 Summer Academies
Numerous learning opportunities are available to professional employees. Participating in Summer Academies, presenting a Summer Academy, holding family engagement clinics, and participating in District committees are some of the choices.
While browsing this website, please notice that sessions are organized by month and then by week. Tap or click a session title to view a description which includes the suggested audience, presenter(s), date, length, location, and a registration link to that direct session in Frontline.
Professionals at each level should select their professional learning sessions based upon the student success anchors and how they connect to individual goals, building/department goals, and District programs. The two exchange days will be August 15 and December 1, 2025. We encourage you to take advantage of as many offerings as you desire. Although supplemental offerings do not count for additional exchange days, they do count toward Act 48 hours. Last year, 136 professional staff engaged in three or more full days of Summer Academy sessions. Professionals taking three or more days of academies may use this as Domain 4 evidence. See your Professional Growth account in Frontline to view your completed summer academies.
A reminder that professionals who select a repeat academy for which they previously earned Act 48 credit will not receive Act 48 credit again with the exception of Safe Crisis Management & CPR training which require recertification.
We've prioritized synchronous learning opportunities this summer.
Full-day sessions (7.5 hours), typically begin at 8:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM, but times may be adjusted at the discretion of the presenter. Half-day session for the morning is 8:00 - 11:45 AM and a half-day session for the afternoon is 12:15 - 4:00 PM. Again, these times may be adjusted at the discretion of the presenter. Please note times listed in the session description.
Online workshops offered by the CAIU, PaTTAN, Vector Solutions, and other reputable organizations may count as exchange days for teaching and non-teaching professionals, program specialists, licensed professionals, and professionals with unique roles and functions with pre-approval by the direct supervisor and district administration.
If you receive a certificate or other evidence of completion of a course, you must upload this certificate during the "Mark Complete" process within Frontline. As always, completion of the evaluation is required for each workshop within Frontline.
We hope that you find the professional learning opportunities meaningful and that you will be able to integrate new learning into your role.
