Information Technology 

Innovation Pathways students enroll in a series of industry-focused electives that prepare them for a wide variety of careers in the high-demand information industry. The Innovation Pathways program has five (5) requirements that must be fulfilled before graduating. 

Students must successfully pass two (2) technical classes which include any of the following:

-Computer Science 1

-Computer Science 2

-Digital Design 

-Internet & Webpage Design

Next, students must complete two (2) college-level courses which include any of the following:

-English 101 (STCC or WSU)

-English 102  (STCC or WSU)

-Statistics (STCC or WSU)

-Psychology 101 OR Sociology 101 (STCC or WSU)

-CIT Foundations 106 w/ Lab (STCC)

-Python Programming 115 (STCC)

-Computer Basics: Concepts & Applications (STCC)

-Computers in Society 101 (WSU)

-Computer Science Principles (WSU)

-Intro to Computer Programming (WSU)

-Or any AP courses at WSHS

And finally, the last requirement is to have each student complete a 100-hour internship during their senior year.
