Business & Finance

Innovation Pathways students enroll in a series of industry-focused electives that prepare them for a wide variety of careers in the high-demand business and finance industry. The Innovation Pathways program has five (5) requirements that must be fulfilled before graduating. 

Students must successfully pass two (2) technical classes which include any of the following:

-Intro to Business

-Personal Finance Management

-Intro to Marketing

-Entrepreneurship

Next, students must complete two (2) college-level courses which include any of the following:

-English 101 (STCC or WSU)

-English 102  (STCC or WSU)

-Statistics (STCC or WSU)

-Psychology 101 OR Sociology 101 (STCC or WSU)

-Principles of Management 101 (STCC)

-Principles of Marketing 101 (STCC)

-Principles of Macroeconomics 101 (WSU)

-Principles of Microeconomics 101 (WSU)

-Or any AP courses at WSHS

And finally, the last requirement is to have each student complete a 100-hour internship during their senior year.
