While we have taken steps to minimize potential disruptions and issues, there is always the potential for the unknown on field trips.
Safety Tips:
Make sure you get the cell phone number of your bus driver and provide them the signs for their bus.
Maintain a 1:10 ratio for chaperones and students.
Use crosswalks and ensure students stay on the sidewalk.
Stay as close to on time as possible.
Make sure your students are boarding and exiting the bus safely.
Use the maps and instructions to go to the correct places.
Have students prepared to go through the security checkpoints at City Hall and the Forsyth County Courthouse.
Be aware that people are free to hold signs or promote religious ideas/information in public spaces like the County Plaza. Explain to students that is a constitutional right and continue onto your destination.
