At-Home Activity!
You can make your very own WORRY MONSTER. Decorate an old tissue box to look like a friendly monster, but leave the opening of the box open, for the monster's mouth. When you feel worried, follow the steps in the book:
Take a deep breath & stay calm
Think a happy thought
Write down your worry and feed it to your worry monster!
Make sure you talk about your worry with a grown-up you trust. You can do this before, or after, your worry monster eats the worry. Trusted grown-ups are there to help you think of other tools and solutions to a worry you are having!
