I am a licensed K-8 school counselor. I graduated with my M.Ed. and Ed.S degrees from UMASS Amherst in 2019. I LOVE my job because it allows me to work with all the students at Academy School. I teach lessons in classrooms, run small groups, and work one on one with individual students.
Topics you might talk to the school counselor about include: feelings, friendships, conflict resolution, goal-setting & planning, changes in life, stress & anxiety, mindfulness, and academic success!

Zoom Statement
I consistently use Zoom as a platform to meet with students during remote learning. Zoom has updated their security policy, all meetings require a password, and will be locked once students arrive. However, if you are uncomfortable with your student using Zoom as a platform to meet with the school counselor, please let me know and we can come up with an alternative. Zoom Statement
