My name is Cara Fisher, and I am in 12th grade at Brattleboro Union High School. Some of my hobbies consist of drawing, painting, circus arts, dancing, and ice skating! A fun fact about me is I have a condition called synesthesia, which is where my brain connects all my senses together, so I could listen to music, and the sounds would make me see and feel colours. I would like to pursue a career in STEM after I leave BUHS and go to college!
I chose FLEX because it was a good opportunity to get credits for my experience at GIV, the Governer's Institute of Vermont for the Arts. I was missing credits for electives because my school didn't really offer actual electives. This path is letting me get credits for something that I was truly passionate about and has a deeper meaning for me than just a regular at class at school.
The purpose of this is to share my GIV journey, and the setup of this site is going to do just that.
I am mostly doing this because I need the credits to move on to college, but to also share this side of me because my hobbies are almost as important to me as my academics.
