Image 1: Students at T.H. Bell Jr. have participated in a "pumpkin plot" assignment around Halloween to demonstrate their knowledge of the parts of plot with a short story.

Image 2: Many students at T.H. Bell Jr. participate in a annual college week each year (if their teacher chooses to host it) where students learn about various colleges and college experiences, select a college to create a presentation about, and write a practice application letter or application essay to practice applying to their chosen school.

Image 3: Sometimes students over the years at T.H. Bell Jr. have been reminded of and/or celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday (Read Across America Day) in March by visiting Suessville.com when their classwork is complete, seeing teachers in Dr. Seuss hats, listening to Dr. Seuss stories, and looking at, writing about, and responding to Dr. Seuss political cartoons, and seeing posters reminding them of this fun occasion.

TH. Bell Jr. has it's own "Bell Reads Blog," which is managed by all of the English Teachers where students can share comments about various books available in the English Department in the classroom novel set libraries for the department or the book club library (the comments have to be approved of by an English teacher before they will appear on the blog).
