Mrs. Mahoney is entering her 5th year of teaching Art at Duello with a total of 14 years of experience teaching Art. Altogether she has 22 years of teaching experience. She has been a Kindergarten and a 4th grade teacher, a Reading Specialist, a Speech Implementer, a High School At-Risk teacher, and a Computer teacher. She started her degree at Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University) and completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with an Art Major from Drury College. Her Masters of Education in Elementary Administration was from William Woods University. She has been happily married to Carl Mahoney for 32 years with a son, Patrick (in Florida), and a daughter, Caitlyn (Senior in college). She enjoys camping, kayaking, traveling, volunteering, singing, and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Mahoney has a passion for Art and hopes to share this with her students.
