- PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS-
Must have written doctors orders as well as written parent permission (See Forms).
Must be brought to school in original prescription bottle with current prescription label.
Parent/Guardian should bring refills to school, with a 30 day supply of medication.
First dose of any new medication should be given at home so parent/guardian can monitor for side effects.
Medications will be stored and taken in the nurse office.
Parent/Guardian should notify school nurse at least 48 hours in advance if medication is needed on an upcoming field trip.
- NON-PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS (OVER THE COUNTER)-
Must have written doctors orders as well as written parent permission (See Forms).
Must be brought to school in new, unopened packaging, with student's name clearly written.
Parent/Guardian should bring refills to school whenever possible, with a 30 day supply of medication.
First dose of any new medication should be given at home so parent/guardian can monitor for side effects.
Medications will be stored and taken in the nurse office.
