Hello Everyone!
I want you to know a little bit about myself as you have entrusted me with your most precious gift, the healthcare of your child.
I am married to my hubby Steve and have two daughters, Sydney and Ellie, and we are a Great Dane family which means the bigger the better when it comes to dogs!
I am a proud graduate of Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. (Go Cougars!) I went straight from graduating college to starting my nursing career at DePaul Health Center, in Bridgeton, MO, in the year 2000. I worked for several years on an Orthopedic/Neurosurgical unit then transferred to the Joint Replacement Unit to be a Charge Nurse on a night shift for several more years after that. In 2013, I changed to the wonderful world of School Nursing becoming the school nurse at Timberland High School and have enjoyed this role ever since.
I work everyday in the nurse office with an amazing Health Service Aide, Grace Mitchell. We welcome any calls or emails regarding the health of your child and request you to please keep your emergency information updated with current names and telephone numbers so we can reach you when needed. Student Health Information will be completed online at the beginning of every school year. Please keep us updated throughout the school year on your child's health status such as surgeries, medications, illnesses/diseases, new diagnoses, or other conditions that may affect your child's school attendance or performance so we can provide him or her with the best healthcare possible.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve this community, this school, and your child.
Donna Davis, RN, BSN
