All you need to know about fishing
When you're on a walk at a park near you and you see people fishing, and catching fish in almost every cast. Then you think that looks fun, so you try to go to the store and get fishing equipment. When you go back to that park there is a sign that says “fishing license required.” You say to yourself, “What's a fishing license and how do I get one?” Then this article is perfect for a person like you.
How do you get a fishing license?
To get a fishing license you have to go either to your local Walmart or Bass Pro. Once you get there head to the fishing/sporting goods department, then there should be a desk and you can ask the employee in the department to help you with the computer. The other way is the online way. For the online way, all you have to do is go to the Missouri Department of Conservation and go to permits, click on fishing permits, fill out your information and then you officially have a fishing license.
How to know what fishing lures to get at the store?
To get the best equipment for a good price you need only a couple different types of lures. The first type of lure is a top-water frog. This lure is perfect for warm weather and bodies of water with lots of moss, the hooks on this lure are made to be able to go through weeds. The second type of lure you need is a rattle trap. The rattle trap is good fordeeper and darker waters. The beads inside the lure cause the lure to rattle which attracts the fish. The last type of lure you have to have in your tackle box is soft plastic senkos. These are good for any type of water; they are good for an easy grab out of your tackle box if you aren't sure what you should cast out.
What are the best reels to get for beginners?
The best reel to get as a beginner is the spinner reel. It's easy to use and they are very reliable. It is very simple to use, first, you hold the line onto the rod with your hand. After that, you open the bail. Then you throw the rod out while letting go of the line make sure to hold on tightly so your rod doesn't go into the water. Once you have your line cast out into the water flip the bail again so you can start reeling back in and wait for a big fish to bite your bait.
The superstar, Black Hawks’ first-round pick rookie, Connor Bedard was tragically injured leaving him out of the game for 6-weeks. The injury happened in a game against the New Jersey Devils this happened on January 5th when Brendan Smith's shoulder and elbow hit Bedard’s jaw, breaking it.
The next day the news was out by The Hockey News he would be missing 6 weeks of the season and the all-star game that he was supposed to go to but that didn't stop him from making a surprise appearance at the all-star game with Crosby where they would be the passers.
For those who don't play hockey, Conner Bedard plays for the Chicago Blackhawks, Connor Bedard is also an 18-year-old rookie. You have to be 18 to play in the NHL which makes him so exciting to watch. Also when he was younger he broke his wrist, which made him unable to play hockey but that didn't stop him. That year his shot jumped, that's how he got so good. So Connor Bedard is a hard-working and resilient player who isn't scared to take a little pain.
Three weeks later he would be on the ice practicing. They had to get the Zamboni driver to kick him off the ice. Then three weeks later we would see him in a game with a bubble instead of a visor. In that game he got one assist, one goal, and one goal called off but before that, he got reversed-checked onto the ice. So that made him get fired up in the second period. He was doing well. I'm surprised that he was doing that good with his jaw broken. At the end of the game, the other goalie pushed Bedard and Bedard went back at him. That was chaos.
Right now his team is not doing well, they probably won't make the playoffs. Conner will probably wear a bubble for like three more weeks or until his jaw heals back up.
Overall “Bedard shook off the injury, ensuing surgery, and his recovery as all-but routine on Thursday following his return Thursday in Chicago's 4-1 loss to Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins,” says Hockeynews.com
