*NJHS will be going on a field trip to Discovery Ridge Elementary School on March 5th! Permission slips will be given out at our next meeting, February 24th!
What: NJHS students will participate in The Read Across America Program and read with kindergarten, first, and second grade students.
When: We will meet in Room 801 at 11:45, eat a sack lunch, and leave for Discovery Ridge Elementary around 12:15. We will return to FMS at around 2:15 pm.
How: We will walk to DRE.
Needed that Day: Students need to bring a sack lunch, a book to read to elementary students, and need to be dressed ready to walk to DRE.

You are always encouraged to find service opportunities on your own (or with friends or family) as well. Some possible ideas include volunteering at a shelter, visiting a nursing home, helping a neighbor in need (for free), cleaning up your neighborhood, volunteering at the food pantry, community events, vacation bible school, etc.

Blood Drive- January 27th from 3-6 in the cafe
Parent-Teacher Conferences- guides for parents so they know where to go
