NJHS stands for National Junior Honor Society, and is an organization that recognizes students that demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. Selection is based on demonstration of those qualities. Students that meet the academic requirements will be invited to apply the spring semester of their 7th grade year. More information will be available during that semester for them. Students that are chosen based on their application scores will be notified towards the end of their 7th grade year and participate their 8th grade year. NJHS meetings and activities will be service-based.
The purpose of this group is to encourage all members to be involved in helping their school and local community, while maintaining a welcoming nature and be a positive reflection of Frontier Middle School.
