Hi! I am Angie Garcia, the K-2 School Counselor. I have worked with children in a therapeutic setting for almost 25 years and have been the K-2 Counselor at Boone Trail for the last 20 years. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist and National Certified Counselor. I graduated from Truman State with a degree in Psychology and got my Master's Degree in School Counseling from Lindenwood.
When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my family! My husband and I are usually at a baseball or soccer game cheering on our teenage boys. They definitely keep us busy!
I love my job and the chance to help little ones feel better about themselves and learn how to navigate the big world around them! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. I am always happy to help!
Hello, I am Heather Null, your 3-5 School Counselor!
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a Minor in Secondary Education in 2014 and my Master's in School Counseling in 2024, both from Lindenwood.
I have been in education for the last 12 years. I spent 8 of those years teaching middle school math and am entering my second year as school counselor!
I enjoy to quilt, read, and spend time with my nieces (7, 6, & 5 years old) and nephew (3 years old). I also love to spend time my newest family member, a golden retriever puppy named Tilly.
I am so excited to be back at Boone Trail and I look forward to working collaboratively with staff, parents, and students to make this the best school year yet!
