The Division of Housing (DOH) has emergency rental assistance funding for Coloradans who have fallen behind on their rent, meet income limits and other qualifying factors, and are at risk of eviction or displacement. 🔗Mercy's Gate Housing Assistance Program provides aid to families who are experiencing difficulties in paying their monthly rent or mortgage. This program offers up to $400 of support with the current month only. Housing assistance is only offered on Mondays. 🔗The Colorado Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) is a federally funded program that helps eligible hard-working Colorado families, seniors and individuals pay a portion of their winter home heating costs. 🔗Modest Needs provides short-term financial assistance to individuals and families in temporary crisis who, because they are working and live just above the poverty level, are ineligible for most types of conventional social assistance but who are living one or two lost paychecks away from the kind of financial catastrophe that eventually leads to homelessness.
