The District Accountability Advisory Committee (DAAC) is a collaborative effort between the Widefield School District 3 (WSD3) community and the WSD3 school district to keep our schools and district accountable. ๐The Building Advisory & Accountability Committee (BAAC) provides input and guidance to the school principal. All secondary schools (junior high and high schools) have a BAAC committee. Please check with your child's school for meeting dates and more information. All elementary schools have a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) that serves as a guidance committee to the school principal. ๐The Widefield Information Network (WIN) is a collaborative effort involving parents, students, staff, and community members who are passionate about the future of our schools. We're working together to: 1. Highlight Critical Needs: Identify and communicate the urgent needs of our district, including necessary facility repairs and upgrades. 2. Promote Fiscal Responsibility: Advocate for responsible financial management and ensure our tax dollars are used effectively. 3. Recruit and Retain Quality Educators: Support efforts to attract and retain highly qualified teachers and staff who inspire student success. 4. Prepare for the Future: Lead the campaign for a bond and mill levy override in November 2025, which will provide essential funding to address our district's long-term needs. The group's purpose is to create a holistic and supportive educational ecosystem that extends beyond school boundaries.
