WSD3, in partnership with๐Goodr, has opened a grocery store at the Security Public Library. This initiative, sponsored by Colorado Community Health Alliance (CCHA), repurposes edible food waste from local businesses to combat hunger. The store provides 200 identified families each month with regular access to fresh produce, canned and frozen goods, and other nutritious items, restocked weekly. The district uses criteria to identify families each month that will have access to the grocery store, ensuring that the resources reach those who need them most throughout the school year. ย ย
