Returning Players & New Prospects

There are only two returning players from last year, so the team will depend heavily on the play of its grade 10 and 11 players. This team is led by Brooke Blacksmith (grade 11, forward), Denise Lopez (grade 11, guard), Cali Parisian (grade 11, guard), and captain Adia Branconnier (grade 12, forward). Keep an eye out for Lily Plouffe (grade 10, forward) who has also made a significant impact as a grade 10 player.

We want the ball to move and we want to attack the basket. We want to be scrappy, aggressive, and physical.

Goals for the Season and Last Years Achievements

We added seven players from last year’s JV team that made the provincial quarterfinals and are hoping to build momentum throughout the season to qualify for the provincials.
