This class is a "science lab" for your ears. We’ll explore the building blocks of music like rhythm, scales, and song structure and use digital tools to bring those concepts to life. Designed to support what you're already learning in your music ensemble, this class helps you turn the "rules" of music into your own creative projects. 

Go beyond sheet music to explore the mechanical world of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. This course covers the evolution of instrument design, the famous players who pushed them to their limits, and the hands-on skills needed to keep them in peak condition. We’ll deconstruct instruments to study their inner workings and learn the essential maintenance needed to care for them. It’s part history, part science, and hands-on learning.
