We would like to inform all parents of incoming kindergarten students about a great opportunity to encourage summer math practice. It is called the “Superintendent’s Summer Math Program.” At the end of every school year we give this form/information out to all the K-5 students to work on over the summer. We want you to know that this program is also available for your incoming kindergarten student as well.
Students who practice math fluency for a minimum of 7 hours over the summer break will receive a certificate for participating in the program. Below you will find a link to a website with fluency practice ideas along with a tracker you can use to record your practice minute. Please return the completed tracker when we return to school in August.
