Originally from nearby Cashton, Profe Taurizano graduated in 2017 and went on to double major in Elementary Education and Spanish Education at UW- La Crosse. Her journey took an exciting turn when a study abroad trip to Argentina introduced her to her future husband. The two, along with her dog, spent four incredible years in Argentina, splitting their time between Buenos Aires and the Patagonia region of Bariloche before moving back home at the end of 2024.

Now in her second year at West Salem, Profe T loves being a Panther, sharing her passion for the Spanish language, and bringing authentic global experience into her classroom.  Outside of school, she enjoys walking, biking, climbing, camping, horseback riding, traveling, spending time with her family (especially her three nephews), and, as you can see in the photo, cheering on Argentina at the World Cup over the summer!
