Mr. Hilkert needs to submit a list to the middle and high school of all students that will be attending the event.
If parents/guardians want to pick their student(s) up from the parade in Rutland to go home, Mr. Hilkert will need a note from them. They will also need to "sign" you out at the parade in person as well.
Costumes
Everyone participating in/with the band at the parade (chaperones included) is to be in a Halloween costume.
Please make sure that your costumes are school AND weather appropriate! It's going to be in the mid 40's at the time of the parade.
General Information
This performance is an optional performance for band students in grades 7-12 and is a great opportunity for us to showcase all the great things going on musically at WRV!!!
We have 39 students performing in the parade.
Our theme for this year is "We ain't afraid of no ghosts!"
This is the 1st time since White River Valley High School was formed that the marching band is attending the parade.
We will be in Section 4 of the parade and we are being judged in the marching band category. Wish us luck!
Mr. Hilkert will bring all participating 7th/8th grade band members instruments to the high school on Friday. This will ensure that no one's instruments are left behind at the middle school as we will NOT be stopping there on Saturday.
The band would like to thank Felicia Allard and her Art students for making the banner for the parade!
