Search and RESERVE Books in our Learning Commons. Destiny Discover lets you reserve a book ahead of time and access eBooks and Audio-books.
To get book suggestions, go to Novel List and search by interest, genre, etc.
Book Borrowing

Fiction and Non-fiction titles are available to borrow and may be checked out for TWO weeks with the option to renew. All borrowers (not friends or family) are solely responsible for returning the books in the same condition.

All students using the library during Academic Class periods must have a pass from an academic or study hall teacher.
ALL students MUST SIGN IN using the digital sign in from Library Trac or scan the QR code provided with your phone.
When leaving, ALL students MUST SIGN OUT by clicking the blue box next to their name on the list.
One student only may leave the Learning Commons at a time for the bathroom. Students must have a pass with them for the bathroom, and for anywhere else they wish to go to from the library

The library is a space meant to support and accommodate a diverse set of needs and uses. Please be respectful of others by talking and collaborating in a way that does not disturb others. Headphones are required for listening to audio.

- Reading, viewing, and/or listening to books and magazines
- Researching using the print and online resources
- Working and browsing on the computers / Chromebooks
- Using a digital resource for reading or listening (headphones required)
- Collaborating with each other on projects or research
- Meetings for groups and clubs
- Presentation on special topics

We no longer have Chromebooks to loan. You may borrow a charger while in theLMC.
We have FOUR (4) Chromebox Desktop computers available for students and staff use.

To kick off the time together in the Learning Commons students will engage in an introduction Kahoot survey called So you think you know how to use the Destiny Library Catalog?
Kahoot! is a tool for using technology to administer quizzes, discussions or surveys. It is a game based classroom response system played by the whole class in real time. Multiple-choice questions are projected on the screen. Students answer the questions with their smartphone, tablet or computer.
