Digital Learning Specialist
Maria Pearson has been part of the WRSD family of educators for over 20 years, starting first at Union Sanborn School in the computer lab and then as the Computer Education Teacher at the middle school. From 2012 to 2019 Mrs. Pearson was the Instructional Technology Specialist for the district working closely with teachers and students from grades K-12 integrating technology into the classroom and expanding the Chromebook 1 to 1 program. Since 2019 Maria has been in the WRHS Learning Commons and holds a dual certification as Library Media and Digital Learning Specialist. This is a perfect fit for her engineering skills, her enthusiasm for STEAM, and her passion for books, literature, and learning. "I want WRHS Learning Commons to be the place where ALL students feel comfortable and want to come to explore and learn something new!"
