Every Child Is Ours

“Every Child is Ours (ECIO) is a non-profit which has a goal of providing children in need with food and supplies. There is a large number of children in our community who go home from school on Fridays and have little or no food over the weekend. During the week, these same children rely on the school's breakfast and lunch programs for meals. Our goal is to send these children home on Fridays with bags of healthy food to have throughout the weekend. No child should be left hungry.” -nhecio.com

Southwick School, Sanbornton Central School:

If you have a child attending school at USS, SS, or SCS and your family is in need of food, please reach out to your school nurse to complete a request form. Once the nurse has received your signed form, your child will be sent home with a bag full of healthy food items for the weekend each Friday afternoon.

Winnisquam Regional Middle School:

The School Nurse at WRMS keeps food items from ECIO stocked in her office. If your child is in need of food at school, they can go see Bobby, school nurse, for snacks at any time during the school day. If your family is in need of further assistance and could use food to get through the weekends, please reach out to Alli Bortz, Family & Student Support Liaison for WRSD or Bobbie LaBranche, school nurse, to sign up for weekend food bags to take home on Friday afternoons.

Winnisquam Regional High School:

ECIO has struggled to reach the WRHS students and families. There is a closet in the guidance office filled with non-perishable food, hygiene supplies, and school supplies. However, this resource is highly underutilized. If your family is in need of food or supplies but your child is not comfortable taking items from the closet at school, please contact Alli Bortz, Family & Student Support Liaison, Melanie Leathers, school nurse, or Linda Sheff, school counselor to make other arrangements. WRSD and ECIO are committed to getting your child what they need to be happy, healthy, nourished, and successful.
