Eligibility Requirements

• Ages Served: 0-3 years (siblings up to age 5 are welcome)

• Geographic Area: anywhere - you don’t need to be a Winnisquam family to attend

• Playgroup is hosted by qualified parent educators who help with tips on parenting and child-centered play

• Tuesdays & Thursdays 9am-11am

• Drop into any session - no referral or signup needed

• Free of cost

• A supportive setting to work with other caregivers in recovery toward efficient parenting and personal transformation in recovery

  • Meet in a small group for 2 hours per week for 14 weeks

  • Complimentary child care and family style meal provided during sessions

Active Parenting of Teens

• The Active Parenting of Teens program includes the essential Active Parenting model that has benefited millions of parents, plus:

  • Teens & technology (the Internet, social networking sites, etc.)

  • The latest in teen drug use prevention (including prescription drugs)

  • Teen bullying: how to spot it, how to handle it

  • Special stepfamily considerations

  • How brain development affects teen behavior and decision- making

  • Improved discipline and communication

  • Updated teen sexuality issues

• (6) two hour sessions
