Do all homework on binder paper in the Math Notebook (your 3-ring binder).
Start each homework assignment on a clean page. On the top line, write your full name, the date, and your class number. Then, carefully copy the page and problem numbers from the weekly sheet.
Number each problem the same as it is numbered in the text (sometimes I have you skip around!).
COPY the problem first (unless it is a word problem). Don't just write an answer!
Do all your math work in pencil. Mistakes should be cleanly erased, not crossed out. Write neatly please.
SHOW YOUR WORK. (No work, no credit.)
To get credit for homework you must complete ALL the assigned problems to the best of your ability.
If you can’t complete every problem, you need a PARENT NOTE.
Five points are deducted from your term grade (each term starts at 100%) for missing or incomplete homework assignments, including not showing your work or skipping problems.
If there are units (inches, cm, etc.), or if it is a word problem, label your answer. When drawing graphs, tables, or number lines, use a ruler to draw straight lines.
Homework is due at the start of class. You will not be able to go to your locker if you forget to bring it to class.
DO YOUR BEST and TAKE PRIDE in your work!
