Drought
Drought is a long period during which a region receives little rain. Droughts are often caused by warm ocean waters, which cause changes in the wind system, reducing cloudiness and rainfall. Using the information on page 47 of the textbook selection create a flowchart with a partner to show how a drought might affect migration to cities in the Amazon river basin.
