I'm so excited to see you all! Things will look a little bit different this year but together we will make it amazing!
This year we will be using a combination of Google Sites and Classroom to organize our learning. You will be able to find everything you need to navigate grade 7 here on the site and any assignments will be linked to Google Classroom. In language this year we will be focusing our learning on two main topics.
Culture and Belonging
Oppression and Action
We will be tackling Geography in the first term and History in the second term. Our Geography units are:
Global Settlement: Patterns and Sustainability
Global Inequalities: Economic Development and Quality of Life
Our History units are:
Creating Canada, 1850-1890
Canada, 1890-1914: A Changing Society
In Art we will be exploring a variety of different mediums and styles over the course of the year. We will begin the year with digital photography.

About me
Hi Everyone! I'm so excited to be back this September. We have an exciting year ahead of us. This is my fourth year here at St. Jacobs. Outside of school I love hiking and spending time with my dog. I love sharing my passion for reading with people and I'm so excited to be on this learning journey with you!
