Circle Painting
This painting activity is so simple! Take a toilet paper roll, dip it in paint, then stamp it on your paper. This art activity is also a great opportunity to talk about 2D shapes like a circle. [For more 2D shape activities, visit Pocket of Preschool] Do you have cookie cutters at home? Those are great for stamping too!
Puffy Paint
To make this puffy paint, all you need to do is mix equal parts water, flour, and salt, and then add a little bit of colour (food colouring or paint). For full instructions, visit The Artful Parent.
Trace and Paint
Write letters, words, numbers, or draw a picture with crayons on a piece of paper. Then paint over the page using watercolours. So simple!
Resuse Dried Out Markers
Before throwing out those old and dried out markers, put them upside down in a container of water to create a watercolour paint that can be used for art and crafts.
