Woodville Families,

I wish all Woodville families a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving Break. This time away is a special opportunity to slow down, recharge, and enjoy time together. Whether you’re traveling or staying close to home, I hope everyone enjoys the holiday!

Last week during our community meetings, we spoke with students about the many successes we’ve seen so far this school year and revisited the expectations for their grade levels. For our older students, the focus was on leadership and being positive role models. For our younger students, we centered the conversation on what it means to be a good learner each day. The discussions were thoughtful, and our students participated with enthusiasm. As a school, we will continue to reflect on this process and may look for additional opportunities to bring grade levels together for similar conversations.

Next Monday (12/1), we will host our annual 'We Are Woodville' celebration. This special event brings our entire school community together and highlights the rich cultures and backgrounds that make Woodville such a vibrant place. The evening will include performances and learning experiences from around the world.  We hope you’ll join us!
