Woodville Families,
I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
We had an exciting week filled with engaging assemblies, and I hope your child enjoyed them as much as we did. We were fortunate to welcome the Boston Bruins Foundation along with BMX rider Chris Poulos, who shared inspiring messages about health, kindness, and striving toward your goals. Both assemblies were high energy and reflected our core values.
Today, we are proud to recognize our March 'Bears of the Month.' As always, we extend our sincere thanks to Len Ceglarski of Domino’s (Reading and Melrose locations) for generously sponsoring this program and providing free pizzas to each of our honorees.

Last, we want to make families aware that MCAS testing for students in Grades 3 and 4 will begin on Tuesday, April 7th. This is an important opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning on this state assessment. It is very important for students to arrive on time (prior to 8:40am) on testing days. There are a series of protocols prior to testing that must be followed, and this information is important for all testing students to hear. Non-testing grades will notice some changes in routine on testing days (indoor morning snack, potential changes in specialist times, quieter hallways, and restrictions to areas in the building). Teachers will review this information with classes, but we wanted you to be aware in case questions arise at home. Good luck to our 3rd and 4th grade students - you got this!
