Announcements

Diabetes Awareness

We are excited to celebrate Diabetes Awareness month this year at Walton. On Friday, November 21st, students and staff can participate and show support for Diabetes awareness by wearing blue. We hope to build on this in the future, and educate our students further about Diabetes.

Conference Opportunities

We are scheduled to have elementary conferences on the evening of November 20th, and the afternoons of November 21st and December 5th. Both November 21st and December 5th will be early release days for students. In addition to your child’s classroom teacher, we want to remind families that all other Walton teachers are available for conferences as well. If you would like to schedule a conference with your child’s specialist teacher, special education teacher, or science

teacher, please reach out to them directly to schedule this. You can access contact information for staff here.

PTO Enrichment

We are very excited to welcome the traveling “Poop Museum” to Walton this Friday. This science-based education program takes a silly and unique approach to educating students about the science of excrement. It should be a great combination of learning and fun for our students. Many thanks to our PTO for making this happen!
