Parent University Event

Wakefield Parent University is planning an interesting presentation for this Tuesday. Andrew Cedrone, Mental Health Coordinator at Galvin Middle School, will be presenting to parents about gambling and sports betting. The session will help families understand how gambling is showing up in teens' lives. The event is free and open to all families.

Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day - Wednesday, May 6

Wednesday will be our spring Walk to School Day. Students should arrive in the circle and sign in at their class table by 8:40 AM to be counted toward class totals. The class(es) with the highest percentage of participants win the golden sneaker certificate! Wakefield Academy and bus students will participate by walking as a group down Davidson Road and back with their teachers during arrival. *Please note* Davidson Road will be closed to vehicle traffic during this morning event.

Pollinator Day

Our second graders are excited to present their research projects at Pollinator Day this Wednesday. All Walton students and 2nd-grade families have been invited to attend. It should be a great event!

Ukulele Concert

Our fourth graders will be performing a ukulele concert for our school on Thursday, May 7th at 8:50 in the Walton School gymnasium. Fourth-grade parents and family members are invited to attend!

Staffing Updates

After 13 years of service at Walton, Special Education ISP, Rhonda Sorice- Chouiakh (Mrs. C.) will be retiring at the end of the school year. Many thanks to Rhonda for all the time and effort she has put in over the years to help our students learn and grow. Please join me in congratulating her!
