Wakefield Public Schools follows the Massachusetts Mathematics Curriculum Frameworks for our mathematics courses.

In 2021, WPS began implementing Illustrative Mathematics (IM) resources to teach our math courses. This problem-based curriculum resource emphasizes transferable skills such as reasoning and sense making, problem solving, and connection of ideas across topics to build long term success in math and life.
