The District Curriculum Accommodation Plan (DCAP) provides guidance for principals, teachers, and other staff to ensure that all students are provided with the tools and strategies to succeed in the general education curriculum.
Principals and teachers have a responsibility to use the DCAP as a tool to ensure all students can access the general education curriculum. There will be students who, due to a disability, will still require more specialized accommodations and/or modifications. The DCAP is a sample of suggested supports but is not all-inclusive.
Accommodations ensure all students have equal access to learning and an equal opportunity to show what they know or can do.Â
