How can my art tell a story?
In grade 1, students will be introduced to artists from around the world while referring to the global map. We will refer to folk tales and folk art, and discover our visual story telling. We will talk about attributes that they-- and famous artists-- possess while creating artwork. (Examples: politeness, achievement, courage, honesty, and reliability.) Look forward to animal themes, art depicting the seasons, and exploration of collage and fiber arts!
