A Historic Milestone: West Otter Tail County Fair Celebrates 150 Years with Free Gate Admission for All
The West Otter Tail County Fair is celebrating its milestone 150th anniversary from July 15th through July 18th, 2026. To mark a century and a half of community, agriculture, and family fun, the fair is opening its gates with free gate admission for the first time in over 100 years.
This historic gift to the community is made possible through partnerships with local businesses and the Fair Board, ensuring that every family can experience the magic of the fairgrounds without an admission fee.
On Friday, July 17th at 8:00 PM, the acclaimed country band Mason Dixon Line will take the Grandstand stage for a powerhouse evening performance. Beyond the grandstand, fairgoers can catch incredible, non-stop local talent performing throughout the four-day event on the Free Stage. Whether you come for the livestock barns, the STEM activities, the live music, or the classic fair food, the 150th West Otter Tail County Fair promises to be an unforgettable, accessible celebration of rural Minnesota life

Take a spin on spectacular carnival rides from the Mighty Thomas Carnival — fun for all ages!
Enjoy nonstop free entertainment throughout the day, cheer on our amazing 4-H’ers, explore the Children’s Barn, and check out impressive 4-H exhibits. Don’t forget to sign the kids up for the always-popular annual Pedal Pull!
And of course — come hungry! We’ve got mouth-watering fair food you won’t want to miss.

Fergus Falls, MN 56537
There are 2 entrances to the Fairgrounds; on Pebble Lake Rd and another entrance off of the MN 210 E by-pass.
From I-94, take Exit 57, turn north toward Fergus Falls and travel approximately 1.5 miles to the Fairgrounds Entrance, just past the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center.
