Tuesday, July 16 - West Otter Tail County Fairgrounds, Fergus Falls

2:00 pm-7:00 pm     Non-Livestock Entry & Judging in the Main Exhibit Building

• Judging will conclude at 7:00 at which time judges will select the non-livestock Champions/Reserve Champions. This is the ONLY time the non-livestock projects will be judged!

3:30 pm-7:00 pm     Livestock Interviews in the Main Exhibit Building

• Livestock Interviews will be conducted Tuesday evening.  All Cloverbuds will interview with the same person, regardless of species, and will not have a scheduled time.

****NEW LIVESTOCK ARRIVAL TIMES & PROCEDURE****

• Check-in is ONLY on Tuesday, July 15 beginning at 10:00AM and ends at 8:00PM. 

• ALL ANIMALS must be checked-in and penned by 8:00PM on Tuesday, July 15. 

• Refer to the map on the next page for the check-in process procedure. - z.umn.edu/2025CheckInProcedure 

• Check-in requires face-to-face communication with Barn Superintendent(s). DO NOT just drop off your animals.

• Late exhibit arrival to the WOTC Fairgrounds and/or early departures - leaving before 8:00PM on Saturday, July 19 - will result in forfeiture of any premiums earned on that exhibit and will disqualify the exhibit from State Fair participation.

Livestock can start arriving at the West Otter Tail County fairgrounds any time AFTER 10:00 am on Tuesday and ends at 8:00 PM on Tuesday. ALL LIVESTOCK must be checked in by the barn superintendent(s). Do NOT just stall/pen and leave. 

Swine weigh-in will be on Tuesday, from 10:00 am-7:00 pm.

POULTRY pullorum testing will be done on Tuesday from 10:00-11:30 am.

Market SHEEP will be weighed at 8:00 am on Wednesday.

Market BEEF must be weighed between 2:00 - 4:00 pm on Wednesday.

Market GOATS must be weighed between 4:00 - 6:00 pm on Wednesday.

Wednesday, July 16 – West Otter Tail County Fairgrounds, Fergus Falls

9:00 am     Swine Show in the AgCountry Arena

1:30 pm    Poultry Show in the Satellite Arena

• Cloverbuds will begin showing at 1:30 followed by the regular classes at 2:00 pm  

3:00 pm     Sheep Show in the AgCountry Arena

• Lamb Lead and Angora Goats will start the show at 6:00 pm followed by the regular classes.   

Thursday, July 17 – West Otter Tail County Fairgrounds, Fergus Falls

8:00 am     Horse Show in the Horse Arena

9:00 am     Beef Show in the AgCountry Arena

3:00 pm     Rabbit Show in the Satellite Arena

• Starting with Cloverbuds/Jr./Int/Sr Showmanship  

Friday, July 18 – West Otter Tail County Fairgrounds, Fergus Falls

9:00 am       Dairy Show in the AgCountry Arena

11:00 pm    Llama Show in the Horse Arena

1:00pm        Goat Show in the AgCountry Arena

4:00pm       Blue Ribbon Sign-up CLOSES

Saturday, July 19 – West Otter Tail County Fairgrounds, Fergus Falls

9:00 am       Blue Ribbon Auction in the AgCountry Arena

10:00 am     Cloverbud Horse Show (after BRA) in the Horse Arena and Horse Fun Show following Cloverbuds

1:00pm State Fair trip acceptance deadline

2:00 pm       State Fair Meeting in the AgCountry Arena

4:00 pm     Sr. Round Robin Showmanship in the AgCountry Arena

• Will include all species: a small animal division & large animal division  

5:00 pm       Barn Yard Olympics in the AgCountry Arena

7:00 pm State Fair Registration Deadline: ALL paperwork and payment due at this time!

8:00 pm      Livestock Release

•  Livestock/Project Release Time: No EARLIER than 8:00 pm.
