Skype's New Features:

Video message, while Skype supports video calling, there was no option to send a video message, the addition allows users to record a video message and share it with friends. The receiver can see it whenever he opens Skype and can reply with a video message of their own. The good bit is that the video message is streamed, and the recipient does not have to download it to view it.

The new update adds a search button to the messenger. It allows users to search for anything and everything within the Skype app. Sharing features, allow users to share photos from the picture gallery on an ongoing Skype chat. A user can also copy a message or photo shared with friends in one group or conversation and share it with another group of friends.
