In this live session, I will explain everything you need to know about our Free SMM Royalties Internship.
Sorry if we've been inactive for 60 days. Maraming hindi nareplyan and all. I think the page is a mess because I lost my passion, my inspiration and drive to move forward. I believe many of us are like that, pinipilit na lang na maging special ang araw, hindi ka na excited everyday. For how many months I was not excited and inspired sa ginagawa ko because I lost track and life was just too heavy for me in the past months.
But you know what, walang masama sa mga araw na hindi special. There will always be ordinary days. But you just have to keep on going to where you want to go.
I lost track but I didn't give up. I messed up. But I also picked myself up.
So that's what I did.
I am giving myself permission to have a fresh start! So let me guide you what are the things you need to prepare if you want to join our SMM Internship program.

I accept anyone who wants to join our community & internship programs but I hope you accept me too for who I am
In this live session, I will discuss the requirements we have to get accepted inside our internship program.
But I want you to know me first para alam mo kung ako nga ba ang dapat na i-follow mo para matuto.
So I want you to know why I am doing this FREE Internship Program.
I am an old soul.
I am eagerly waiting for God to call me home and see Jesus.
I am always daydreaming about heaven.
So if you do not like how I talk, please feel free to find another community. I'm afraid, I won't be able to help you.
Bakit old soul?
Life. Death. Hope. Joy. Faith. Love.
The love I receive from God is what I share with you.
Love is the meaning of our life. Love is the meaning of our work and everything we do.
The genuine love we experience from God is being passed on to the people around us.
I hope you join me in passing on the love we receive from God to this awesome freelancing community we have.

"From being broke and broken 5 years ago, I am now a Certified Facebook Blueprint Creative Strategist, Certified Google Educator, Influencer, Social Media Strategist, and a Community leader."
What 5 years can do for you?
Kalahating dekada.
Suffering yet always rejoicing.
Old souls can cry in pain while also embracing joy.
My freelancing journey is my quest of finding my identity.
Our identity as a freelancer needs clarity. That is the first thing you need.
Clarity in our identity.
WHY. WHO. WHAT. WHERE. WHEN. HOW.
Your 5 W's and 1 H.
The moment you gain clarity, mas mabilis mo makukuha ang gusto mo.
In this live session, I want to talk about finding clarity in our identity as freelancers.
Paanong after 5 years, from being broke and broken, I am now a Certified Facebook Blueprint Creative Strategist, Certified Google Educator, Influencer, Social Media Strategist and a Community leader.
"You have not lived unless you have helped someone who can never repay you." - John Bunyan
Seeing them succeed makes me happy and it makes me realize na lahat ng pain na dinanas ko ay may dahilan.
After 5 years, my heart became bigger and stronger. I am now ready to share more love and inspiration.
In the end, totoo ang pangako ng Panginoon. Our sufferings are His blessings in disguise. We cannot do anything apart from Him.

- Data Management Tools
- Project Management Tools
- Communication Tools
10 years ago, I was a government scholar studying Computer Engineering. I was also working as a part-time English Tutor for Korean Students earning around 5K per month. I was also a part-time student assistant earning around 3K per month. The government was paying my tuition fee and I was working to pay for my school expenses and everyday allowance.
I believe all of us at some point met a classmate or a friend who is totally against doing bad things. That classmate who gets angry at you when you do or think about cutting classes, lying about the amount of tuition fee, or going to the mall during exam period instead of studying, or not buying books just to wear expensive clothes.
I am that classmate. I don't make friends with people who are happy doing these bad things I hate. I can't sincerely support you when I know you are destroying your future.
I have to work really hard for my school allowance. My mama is a street vendor, she's selling cooked food so we'll have food on the table. My papa is a security guard, he's guarding a school so we can go to school. I have 7 siblings, 3 girls, and 5 boys. We were very poor back then. You can say that all of us in the family are under-graduate at that time. No one has ever graduated in our family back in 2010.
But in that same year, my spleen and my gall bladder decided to sabotage my plan to graduate.
I wish I could tell you that I was the very positive Lala, who is jolly and hopeful and all smiles.
But no, I was bitter and angry with God.
More than the physical pain, it's the emotional torture of seeing my dreams slowly collapsing.
"everything will work for the good of those who love God and called according to His purpose"
Tinuturuan pala ako ni Lord kung paano yung totoong pananampalataya sa Kanya, hindi religion at tradition, but faith in God alone.
My suffering has a purpose.
My pains are not useless.
My tears are not meaningless.
My God-given story, though very painful, has a purpose.
As a student, I've learned how to manage my time and my money
As a Christian, I've learned that pain and suffering will always come. But we must not lose heart. We must learn to surrender and fully trust God kahit minsan parang guguho na ang lahat dahil yun ang totoong pananampalataya.
So I believe the two biggest mistakes many people make are...
managing their time and money carelessly
and
not trusting God fully
This is something we all should learn.
But in this age of Social Media, Netflix, and the growth of the massive entertainment industry, we can be easily blinded and unconsciously lose our focus on the things that really matter.
It's just one show.
Just one more episode.
I'm too tired.
I deserve to relax.
I don't deserve this pain.
I am not against self-care. You know that I care for you.
But once again, I will be that classmate who will remind you and encourage you to finish your homework first so you can fully enjoy the summer vacation that's coming.
and I will be your sister in Christ who will remind you that God has a purpose for your life, God has a purpose for all your sufferings.
Tuldok lang tayo sa kalawakan ni Lord.
But we can make a difference dito sa earth.
The pain-pleasure principle.
It's going to be difficult right now but if you endure you will reap your rewards.
You will graduate. You will level up.
Come 2011, I graduated. Year 2012, my younger brother graduated. Year 2015 my youngest sister graduated and we are all helping to support our youngest brother finish his studies.
As a community of Bonafide Filipino Freelancers, like brothers and sisters, we must help each other to level up.
We must remind each other of the importance of spending our time and money wisely.
So that when we graduate, we can support others who are still trying to finish their studies.
Follow someone ahead of you, help someone behind you. Never forget God is always there above you.
We all have a God-given purpose in life and we must lose heart.
Let's continue our Week 2 & 3 live session training!
Week 4 Topic:
Self-Discipline & Goal Tracking
Time Management
Skill Upgrade
Client Tasks
Portfolio & Case Studies
By the end of this class, you must have a better strategy how to train yourself to become an expert you want to be.
We all get tired. We all lose motivation. We all need to go get some rest and sleep every single day.
Why?
Because God created us in a way where we need to be renewed day by day. Jesus taught us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread”, God’s mercies are new every morning, We are not to be anxious about the future, or even tomorrow, for every day has its own trouble (Matthew 6:34).
I want to be that person who will tell you to plan your month long, three month long, or a year long training, but I will also be the person who will say that we should live moment by moment, day by day, by the grace of God.
I don’t want you to think as if I have perfected these day to day activities and that I have never failed. I have failed many times in my life.
Year 2019 nagdugo yung brain ko at nagdugo ulit siya nung December 2020. I wrote the post called “My bleeding brain & my hopeful heart”
"kasalanan ko to"
May gusto akong nais sabihin sayo kung ikaw to...
All my inspirations are coming from a relaxed mind.
"Quality over quantity" ika nga.
Live your life.
Be present in every moment.
Salamat SWAHG Team dahil kahit madalas wala ako, you help each other and maraming success stories and nangyayari.
Pwede mangarap at pwede magkamali.
So I want to say, having a daily schedule is good, not meeting all of them because of life or health or relationship situations is totally fine. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself.
However, if you do not have health conditions, your life is going well, you should be thankful for all the blessings and never take them for granted, because sometimes the simple things you are ignoring right now are the same things that other people badly want to have.
Ang simpleng pagtayo, ang simpleng pag-lakad, these are very ordinary things we do, but if God decides to take these away from you, we must all learn to trust God moment by moment.
Every suffering is meaningful because it pushes us to trust God and not ourselves. It teaches us to fear a life without God, Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
So here I am saying, we should look at life how it looks like in the long run, but also plan it strategically and embrace it day by day.
In every planning, we are hoping that we will find joy and truth in God in everything that we are doing. Yung suffering ni Jesus sa Christ sa cross, it’s not a myth, it’s part of history that we should never forget. He is a God who knows suffering, so he understands your pain.
In the future, all this pain and suffering will end, pero habang andito pa tayo, let’s encourage one another in truth and in love.
Kaya habang okay ako, I am doing my very best to share this God-given love and inspiration sa inyo.
As I share my experience, sana maencourage kayo na magpatuloy kahit mahirap ang training, kahit maraming drama ang buhay, kahit pa minsan wala tayo nakikitang progress.
Pero di ba, “the day you plant the tree is not the day you eat the fruit” at sabi din sa bible, “For everything there is a season . . . a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance”
Whatever the condition of your heart right now, please know na naiintindihan ko kayo at andito ang team para magsupport sa inyo
For today, I will discuss ano ang day to day practices ng mga Bonafide Filipino Freelancers
ACTIVIES:
SMM Masterclass Worksheet | Task #1 | No Excuses Just Goals | Organize your Schedule
Track your Habits using Joy Tracker
Week 5 Topic:
By the end of this class, you can choose the strategy that will work for you in finding the clients you want to work with.
Are you Systematic or a Risk-Taker?
If you are a kind of person na gusto mo step by step, at calculated ang bawat gagawin, you are probably a systematic kind of person.
If you are the kind of person na "I will make it work no matter what", "mahihirapan ako for sure pero go lang!" Then most likely you are a risk taker.
Then may mga variations yan in between.
I call this "Spectrum of Grit"
May 99.99% na systematic, meron din namang halo, so 50% systematic na may pagka risk taker or vice versa.
Sa extreme side of being very systematic, you want pieces of evidence that you have a strong chance na maging steady at profitable na freelancer, gusto mo step by step, your mantra is
"Slowly but surely", kasi ayaw mo magsisi at magkamali.
Sa extreme side of being a risk-taker, ikaw yung "sugod mga kapatid" kahit you are a very positive thinker "kaya yan!", "let's go!" you don't care kung anong sinasabi ng iba sayo, may konting takot, pero you believe that you can make it work no matter what.
Syempre may disadvantages at advantages yang mga yan. That's why it's very important to get the right balance.
Most of the time, risk-takers are extroverts, systematic people are introverts.
But we are not as simple as a phone software, we are humans.
We are not robots. We are created in the image of God, we have a super complex brain, we have different combinations of emotions. Higit sa lahat, our mindsets can be trained.
I am not saying that we can change our mindsets in an instant, minsan its a lifetime training.
We have to work on it every.single.day
So, una you need awareness. Ano ba yung mga natural tendencies ko? Am I prone to be perfectionist and systematic? or Am I prone to be risk-taker at sumusugod ng walang plano?
Kasi minsan, we sabotage our own success thinking "hindi pa kasi ako ready" kahit ready naman na o kaya naman "akala ko ready na ako" yun pala walang foundation.
Very important ang role ng community dito sa part nato, minsan we need advice from other people, we need outside perspective.
I hope you have people in your circle who are genuinely caring about you. If wala pa, we would love to connect with you.
As we understand our natural tendencies and personalities, we can then choose the best strategies para mahanap ang mga ideal clients natin.
ACTIVITIES:
Take 16 Personality Test - Know your natural tendency if you are an Introvert (Systematic) or Extrovert (Risk-Taker)
Know the 10 Ways of Finding a Client & choose your own strategy
Understand Tactical Triangle & Explain it on your words
Week 6 Topic:
You must know the best practices in getting legitimate kinds of Certificates from platforms that are recognized internationally like LinkedIn Learning and SkillShare.
Week 7 Topic:
You must have better strategies how you can build your portfolio in two ways:
1) When you don't have a client yet
2) When you already have a client
I was born with sickness. My eyes and skin were yellow. I needed a surgery but because we are very poor, I had to suffer for 20 years before I finally got my operation. Now, I overcame my sickness, I graduated with flying colors and got married to a wonderful man. I have a successful career and earning decent money.
I asked myself. Is this all there is to life?
My answer is no. I want to pursue a mission that gives me joy.
"Follow someone ahead of you. Help someone behind you. Never forget that God is always above you."
It is my dream to be part of a community of Bonafide Filipino Freelancers na magagaling at nagtutulongan.
As I pursue this mission, I get the chance to share God's love and that gives me joy.
Let's all continue pursuing our expertise and giving deeper meaning to what we do.

Client asks "How much is your rate?" What should you say?
The concept you should keep in mind is to know more about the project and the client FIRST, if he or she did not give you the exact things you will do. Then, it is your responsibility to ask.
Never work with someone who cannot fully explain job's description, your responsibilities or their business.
The best practice is to do a discovery call first or in common terms, interview.
What does that mean?
You should talk to the client over the PHONE. Ask them what exactly needs to be done. It has to be phone and not email so the response is realtime and you can hear their voice and how they say it.
Then you should give them idea of your full potential and your skills.
Then that is the only time you will disclose what's your rate because they will understand why you have that rate.
I will not disclose my rate unless I know what exactly the business of the client is and I have an idea of the kind of person my client is.
I am on a journey of becoming an expert.
I have my plans and strategies to become the expert I want to be.
Therefore, I only want to work with clients who are CAPABLE of giving me decent salary (of course) but at the same time, I want a client who will NOT disrespect the talent and skills that I have.
I will always go with the client who have good mission and vision for the business. I will not accept the client if I do not believe in what they're doing.
Talking to clients over the phone is the professional way.
Remember, YOU NEED TO QUALIFY YOUR CLIENT AS WELL. You will need to know if they have a good business or what.
It is not a good choice to work with people who will not help you grow and will not respect your skills and your value.
I hate working with clients who are just looking for cheap labor, disrespecting the value of my skills and NOT wanting me to grow.
BUT, I totally understand those people who are working with their "nightmare" clients at the moment.
I've been there. Please stay strong and endure it professionally. Work hard and improve your skills. Sooner or later you will be able to leave them.

ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:
Do you understand how to charge your client?
How much do you think you can charge your client? Why?
Mag 7 years na akong nakikipag work sa international clients and I can say na marami pa rin akong fears. I believe that's also the reason why I am having lots of success stories sa career ko.
Sounds ironic? Marami kang fears, pero maraming success?
I remember when I was in college, ganon na ganon din ako. Lagi akong may fears.
Fear plays a big part of my everyday life.
Fear to fail an exam, or the subject, of not graduating.
Tuwing midterms or finals, lagi akong natatakot pag di nakapag review.
But those fears helped me to stay humble and focused.
Now that I am working as a Social media manager,
I have fears of failing my clients, their businesses and my career.
Fear I don't eat right, fear my posture is wrong, fear that I don't exercise.
Fear that I don't enjoy the moment as I should.
Fear not to earn enough.
In short, I fear a lot of things.
However, I can say that I have two kinds of fear.
Rightly-placed Fears and Misplaced Fears.
Rightly-placed Fears can be actively present while you are doing the right thing that scares you the most, something even you don't know what the outcome will be. You are afraid, you don't have enough courage but you are taking action.
Misplaced fears means I am passively, helplessly thinking about things I can't control.
Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
Fear is the start of the process, it is an action that takes place to begin something. I find it beautiful to start my process with fear, kasi naitataas ko lahat kay Lord ng worries ko at sa Kanya din ako kukuha ng strength na maovercome ang challenges ko.
It's beautiful because God gets all the glory in my life. I know when God calls me home, hindi na ako kailangan matakot kasi magkasama na kami.
So it's not a cowardly thing to fear, there are kind of fears that we all must have and must embrace.
Naalala ko, I have so many fears nung nagkaroon ako ng first high-paying client ko.
So in this live session, I'll share with you kung paano ba ioovercome tong napakalaking monster na hinaharap ng mga aspiring freelancers,
Fear of getting rejected proposals, fear of being fired by the clients.
