The Biotechnology Academy did an excellent job at preparing me for college. I was able to learn a lot in the field of biotechnology and I was able to physically learn about the concepts in labs that we did during the chapters that we covered. I learned how to read and better understand research papers and by the end of the 2 years had fully written my own research paper which gives me a step up for my classes now.
High School Graduation Year: 2019

Overall, I feel my experience in the Biomedical Science and Technology Academy prepared me greatly for college. I acquired many skills through the Academy that are transferable to college and have made my academic transition very smooth.
I am grateful for the opportunities and education the Academy gave me and highly suggest future students to consider joining.
As a parent of a 2015 Biomedical Science and Technology Academy graduate, I am grateful of the preparation my son Clayton received to attain his collegiate goals. Currently he is just a couple months away from graduating with his Chemical Engineering degree from The University of Dayton. This accomplishment is in part, due to his learning experience with the program. The Academy taught Clay inquiry, analytical methods, and many prerequisite skill sets to survive in a challenging academic curriculum.
The structure of the program enables students to be self motivated and driven. Clay received exposure to a variety of classes in the Academy that fostered this trait. When your child succeeds in something he sets his mind to, you realize that he had the foundation to make it a reality.
This academy is a great way to open the door to a multitude of career paths for the students who decide it is for them.
