Below you will find the tools and resources to get started with our learning system. Of course, if you have any questions or concerns, you can always reach out to your school. Their contact information can be found below.
1. Review the CDL Overview PDF (linked below). It will give you the basics of our weekly schedule, and expectations. You can also watch the video below that reviews additional information including answers to frequently ask questions.
2. Next you are going to get a call from your counselor. They are going to help you set your schedule, as well as get access to your new email and password.
3. Next you will want to log into your computer.
If you are using a school Chromebook, you will use your school email and password to log into want to log into your Chromebook. From there you can log into Google Chrome to log into your email.
If you are using a personal computer, you will want to visit https://www.google.com/gmail/ and sign into your school Gmail account. If you do not use Google Chrome, you may want to consider installing it for use during school.
This email address will be used to access your Google Classrooms and Google Drive. These tools will be where most of your instruction takes places. If you are having trouble, watch the videos below.
4. Using the google classroom codes you were provided, or by accepting the Google Classroom invites that your teachers may have sent through the email, you will want to access all of your Google Classrooms (there should be 4 + your Wednesday Foundations Class).
5. Next, log into PowerSchool at https://pss.woodburnsd.org/public/home.html. This will allow you to check your grades, and see your schedule.
6. Finally - below are a series of videos you can watch to learn about some of the basics of being successful during Comprehensive Distance Learning. Watch them as needed. And, of course, you can always find resources on this website, through your school websites, or by contacting your school support team by clicking on the buttons at the bottom of this page.
