My name is Michelle Boucher and I love teaching children! I have been a 3rd grade teacher for thirteen years as well as one year as a Title One Math Teacher at Wells Elementary School. Prior to coming to Wells, I held various positions including 2nd grade teacher, Title One Math Teacher, LTS for 1st and 4th grade, Special Education Technician, etc.
It is important to me to establish positive relationships with my students by creating a classroom environment that is inviting, respectful, and supportive. I encourage students to do their best while also building their confidence and independence.
I believe in making learning fun!! Even though students work really hard and take learning seriously, I always find ways for us to be a little silly and share in some laughter.
My family includes my husband Brian, dogs named Moxie and Bailey, and an 18 year old Siamese cat named Casper.
My son Eric graduated from college with a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and is employed as an engineer while his wife is employed by a financial company.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, working on home projects, gardening, camping, biking, walking, and kickboxing.
