My name is Amy Cardenas and I am thrilled to be the Gifted and Talented program teacher at Public School #3. 

I have been teaching since 2002, and returned to the Gifted and Talented Program in 2019. It has been a joy to facilitate learning and nurture curiosity and talent through project based activities, hands on exploration, and field experiences. 

I am a mom of two daughters who thrive on music, dance, sports, and acting. My husband also works for the West New York Board of Education, and we have pets including a dog  and a frog!
