Welcome to Gifted & Talented!

Hello, my name is Nancy Viana, and I am your child's teacher for the Gifted and Talented Program. Since 1997 I have had the privilege of working with several grade levels, as a classroom teacher, World Language Teacher, and as a Reading Specialist. I received a BA in Communication from Seton Hall University, and a MA in Reading from Montclair State University. Also, I have a K-8 Teacher Certification, and a Reading Specialist Certificate.

I believe that one of the many joys of being a teacher is having the opportunity to help students become life-long learners, and achieve their maximum potential. My goal is to motivate students, and invoke a love of learning. It is my pleasure to have your child in my class, and I am looking forward to a successful and enjoyable year!
