King Tut

Death masks were usually made out of gold and believed to help guard a dead person from evil spirits in the afterlife.

Materials: papier mache mask, a piece of cardboard,markers rulers, and paint.

Steps:

• Draw the outline of your face mask in the middle of your piece of thick cardboard.
• Cut out your template – Also, cut away the face mask shape from the middle.
• Use masking tape to stick your face mask into the middle of your template.
• Cut two slits in your cardboard tube about 2cm long on opposite sides of the tube, and then cut between these slits on one side, so that a small section comes off the tube – this will be your beard!
• Use hot glue to attach your cardboard beard onto the chin of your face mask and stick with masking tape.
• Use the ruler to create the lines headpiece
• Paint your mask accordingly
