The passion project is a project created for students in the 8th grade to chose one global goal out of the UN's 17 global goals. Students chose one problem and create a solution. The problem that I chose is when children stay in hospitals, there is not much support to give them joy before they get better. Nurses, doctors and parents give them lots of words of encouragement and do their best, but I wanted to give the children something that will help them remember what gave them hope and joy while staying at the hospital. I decided to make blankets for the children that will give them hope and belief that they will get better. That is also why I gave each blanket a note to take with them.

For my passion project I chose global goal #3 because my project involves hospitals and people improving their health for their own well-being.

I chose this target because my project is part of a research to make kids emotionally feel better.

I created this problem logo because this is gives a guide to what my passion project is about. When you look at this you know this project is about helping children feel better, and that is what I am doing, I want children to feel like they have a chance and to give them hope for the future.

I am Lola and I created blankets to help children while they stay in a hospital. I created this project out of my own experience. Not so long ago I had to have my appendix taken out and I had to stay in a hospital over night. I wanted to create a give back to the hospital that took such good care of me.The problem I addressed was helping create a better experience for children while they stay in hospital. I created a safety lovey blanket. They look like sloths! My project helps the children staying at the hospital and gives them hope for the future. The sloth is supposed to help them get through their stay, and to help t hem feel safe and protected. The product has been tested and the results are Maria loved the thought of the blankets. She says that they will create a lasting impact. My product is special because hospitals go through so many kids that it is hard for them to give each one a special experience. These blankets help provide love, joy, and support like no other.
