Autism Research Projects

What Are Skill Acquisition Projects?

These are the master's projects done by graduate students in BATS. Sometimes referred to as autism projects because they tend to be research conducted with students with autism, these skill acquisition projects are conducted at the BATS practicum site (previously Woodsedge or the Kalamazoo Autism Center/KAC, now KRESA West Campus) and fulfilled Western Michigan University's graduation requirements for master's projects.

Topics

Each projects is put into a category that best fits the skill that it was designed to teach. For example, a project that focused on teaching a student how to stay sitting in their seat would be under the "compliance" section.
